Breast cancer and your oral health

Fatigue is the most common side effects of any type of cancer treatment. The treatment can drain all your energy even to take good care of your personal hygiene and we get it; we understand that this is strong battle that you are fighting. And since we care and stand by you, we want you to know that having a good oral hygiene can become an important factor not to lose your teeth. Not all cancer treatments affect the teeth, mouth and jaw but the risk of experiencing some effects is a possibility. We know that you may think brushing your teeth is not priority but maintain a healthy hygiene is a type of line of defense that you shouldn’t take for granted. Flossing and brushing your teeth will reduce the risk of dental diseases that can develop during your breast cancer treatment. So, remember to do your dental check-ups every 6 months.
